Against a proxy 2 gate the perfecto counter is the classic 11 pool. However, the situation will vary depending on where your protoss opponent places their 2 gates-either in the middle or at their natural choke. In the case of 2 gates placed at the their natural you should play defensively trying to protect your natural hatchery. Save up larvae at the 40 percent ish mark of your spawning poool.
The 11 pool is perfect for being able to get Zerglings out at an ample time to deal with the initial first zealot and the 2-4 probes the protoss may bring. Your hatchery should hatch at a perfect timing so you can place a sunken colony immediately to defend the upcoming zealot aggression. Be sure to also camp an overlord at their gateways to see if they're still producing more Zealots so you can decide whether or not to add on more sunken colonies. An appropriate follow up would be Lurkers to punish the 2 gateways up at the front choke, or even Mutas is a sound choice vs. a followup after fending off 2 gate aggression. \
In the case of a proxy gate done in the middle of a map simply have your lings sent to the Protoss' main base or even the pylon powering the two Gateways in order to delay zealots from attacking your natural Hatchery. This is to spread the Protoss' zealot force wide having to be cautious about defending not only their own mineral line but also their vulnerable gateways in the middle. Add on some sunken colonies as soon as your natural Hatchery finishes. At this point if the Protoss hasn't done any significant damage you've won the game.
in the case of a 12 Hatch for either scenario cancel your natural hatchery and instead build another one in your main base. Proxy a hatch elsewhere in a hidden place your opponent wouldn't expect. Tech to speedlings and make an eventual break with a combined force of lings+stacked drones to break any zealot contain at your ramp.
Any pool sooner than an 11 pool you want to be on the aggression and threaten a backstab in the scenario of a natural(2nd base) proxied 2 gate. However, because the choke of FS is imba for Protoss this will be difficult. You may have to make a hatchery in your main base as a result if the protoss opts to bring probes along with their zealots, a powerful and scary combo for all Zergs but also a double edged sword brining economic toll to the protoss for pulling workers.
If you don't think you'll have a hatchery pop up soon enough and/or enough lings to fend off the initial zealot aggression make your hatchery inside of your base and create 1 sunken colony to defend. Again, break out with speedlings/drones if the protoss decides to do a zealot contain.
